  70. SplitVu is an add-on for WordPerfect 6.0 and 6.1 for Windows that lets
  71. you view and edit two parts of a document at the same time. This ability
  72. is very useful for checking the stylistic and substantive consistency of
  73. different parts of a document and for other tasks as well, such as
  74. cutting and pasting.
  75.  
  76. SplitVu creates two window panes within the WordPerfect document area,
  77. each containing a separate view of the active document.  The text in
  78. each pane can be separately scrolled, edited and formatted.  Because
  79. each pane shows the original document and not a copy, all changes made
  80. in either pane are reflected in the original.

  82. This version of SplitVu is fully functional shareware with a 21 day
  83. evaluation period.

  86. splitvu.hlp (which can be accessed from within SplitVu or run

  118. ===== Installation =====================================

  120. To install, unzip or copy all files to a single directory.  Make sure
  121. you have a copy of VBRUN300.DLL in your WINDOWS/SYSTEM directory.  (If
  122. you don't, you can download a copy from most on-line services and
  123. bbs's.)  Then run setup.exe and follow the prompts.
  124.  
  125. After running the SplitVu setup program, start WordPerfect and add the
  126. ability to launch splitvu.exe to a menu, button/tool bar or keystroke
  127. combination.  The procedure for this is the same as for adding the
  128. ability to launch any program from a WordPerfect menu, button/tool bar
  129. or keystroke combination.  Instructions are contained in the SplitVu
  130. documentation (splitvu.hlp, which is a Windows help file, or
  131. usrguide.wpd, which is a WordPerfect 6.x document) and in the WordPerfect
  132. User's Guide (see Menu Editor, Button Bar Editor or Toolbar Editor, or
  133. Keyboard Editor).

  136. combination, try it out by launching SplitVu while you have a document
